NOMA is a vibrant neighbourhood in Manchester, known for its diverse food, music, and strong sense of community. Following the success of the NOMA Place Film, the marketing team wanted to build on this momentum by creating a ‘With NOMA’ mini-series—a collection of short films that would continue to tell the evolving story of the area.
Rather than simply showcasing businesses in NOMA, the series needed to celebrate the individuals and enterprises shaping the neighbourhood, highlighting what they do with NOMA and capturing the spirit of the place.
We developed the ‘With NOMA’ mini-series as an ongoing collection of short films, each focusing on a unique business or individual contributing to the fabric of the neighbourhood. By immersing ourselves in their stories, we created films that feel authentic, engaging, and reflective of NOMA’s identity.
Each film captures the passion, craft, and community-driven spirit of the people who make NOMA what it is. The series was designed to be flexible and ever-growing, allowing new stories to be added giving people tasters of what’s happening as the neighbourhood continues to evolve.
The ‘With NOMA’ series provides a continued, people-first narrative that keeps the identity of NOMA fresh and relevant. By championing the businesses and individuals shaping the area, the films serve as both a celebration of the present and an invitation to those looking to be part of its future.
With new businesses and leisure offerings opening regularly, the series continues to grow, ensuring NOMA’s story is always evolving, just like the neighbourhood itself.
