Altogether Otherwise, based in Manchester’s NOMA neighbourhood, is a unique collective that champions DIY culture, shared endeavor, and fun. Operating within a meanwhile space supported by MEPC, the property developer, they needed help capturing what made them special. With their multifaceted approach—combining workshops, community events, and the ‘Hobby House’—there wasn’t one clear way to showcase their identity. They needed a campaign that represented the diverse activities and spirit of their space.
We collaborated closely with Ben from Altogether Otherwise, and Nicky and Dom from MEPC and NOMA to craft a campaign that reflected the collective’s vibrant and eclectic ethos. Our solution was a series of photographs that captured the various clubs, events, and happenings at Altogether Otherwise, showcasing the diversity of experiences within their space.
In addition to the photography, we produced a short film, “Altogether Otherwise – With NOMA,” which is part of a larger series we’ve been creating for NOMA to highlight the dynamic events and transformations taking place within the neighbourhood.
